Volunteer Opportunity

There are individuals in our community who need your help learning to speak, read, and write English. Volunteer an hour or so a week and help someone improve their life, their employability and their future.  You will receive training and on-going support.  You only need patience and understanding, and the ability to sit with someone and practice everyday English. Our learners need help with: completing forms, reading food labels, writing notes, talking to the doctor...
You do not have to be highly educated...we're looking for someone who is comfortable with English and is able to teach basic skills.

Call Judy @ (403) 345 3160 for more info.
